About Ana's Flowers

My Story

I was lucky enough to start my training at college which was then supplemented by continuing my training whilst working in Central London at Selfridges, Oxford St, moving on to top society florist of the time Moyses Stevens where I progressed to working in 5* hotels doing event work.

Over the years I have worked at West End hotels such as Claridges, The Dorchester, head florist at The Grosvenor House Hotel and The Hyde Park Hotel- now part of the luxury hotel chain Mandarin Oriental arranging flowers for the public areas and functions.

In over 30 years of being a florist I have had the pleasure of arranging flowers for Sylvester Stallone’s wedding at Blenheim Palace, the royal wedding of Prince Edward and Sophie Rhys- Jones at Windsor Castle, flowers for events for George Michael and Elton John. I have even arranged flowers amongst the dinosaurs at The Natural History Museum!

You will find me at The Black Barn, Horam Manor farm, East Sussex where I am now working at a more leisurely pace of life as a studio florist. I am lucky enough to be surrounded by beautiful countryside where I am inspired to create natural, seasonal floral designs available all year round. I always have a selection of flowers, plants and gorgeous gifts ready for free local delivery and without the constraints of a shop I am able to offer a competitive service.
